Whether it's your wedding day, a senior session, a family session, or another milestone, my passion lies in helping you remember who you and your people are now so you can look back and remember not just what they looked like, but who they were at that time. This is a lot of what inspires me, and what inspires me to follow the emotion around us as it happens - the grins, tears, and in between- both on your wedding day and on beautifully ordinary days.
I'm here to help you remember the souls of your favorite people. Since we can't photograph souls, we settle for their faces that remind us of their souls and personalities. It is an honor to help you remember them, since we never know how long our friends and family members will be here with us.

I’m Eva, a photographer based in Polk City, Iowa—northern suburb of Des Moines. I live here with my wonderful husband, Daniel, and we enjoy running and going on long walks together.

I’d love to have a few ducks and goats someday, but for now, we live in town—no livestock allowed, and not quite enough land anyway.
I got my start in photography in 2022 and made the leap to full-time at the end of 2023. Since then, I've had the honor of capturing more than 180 couples, families, weddings, and events. It’s been the most rewarding work I’ve ever done.
