Des Moines Art Center Wedding

Olivia and Elias's wedding at the Des Moines Art Center was absolutely beautiful. The courtyard ceremony with the stunning reflective pond felt like it's own bubble. Olivia and Elias got mostly ready together with their closest friends in their apartment, then finished at the art center.

Elias's mom gave them each a gift as they were finishing getting ready, then they said their private vows to each other before the ceremony. They had been together almost a decade, which made everything extra sweet, since their friends and family clearly had gotten to know and love both of them. You could feel the love radiate throughout, everyone there raved about and adored them. They opted to walk each other down the aisle, which only made sense to them since they have so much history together.

The Des Moines Art Center was the perfect balance of intimate and spacious, with enough room in the courtyard for a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony, yet enough space for guests to wander and explore. Check them out: https://desmoinesartcenter.org/venue-rental/lobby-and-courtyard/

I don't know if I've ever heard a bride get as many compliments on her dress as Olivia did! She removed the sleeves of her dress before the dances, which was a fun way of changing her outfit a little without the hassle of switching dresses entirely.
